LTD "Lomisi" already within 4 years successfully provides manufacturing of Georgian beer. During the first year- in 1991 - in "Lomisi" factory was bottled on average 90 bottles per day. Within the years in enterprises was made important investments both in direction of increasing of capacity and modern technologies introduction.

In 2001 after wide-scale re-armament with newest technique LTD "Lomisi" was transformed in beer and soft drinks manufacturing enterprise of republic importance. Currently LTD "Lomisi" manufactures a wide scope of production: few brands of beer, cold tea, refreshing and vitamin soft drinks.

From 2001 LTD "Lomisi" after reconstruction and management support of CERMA center is going on the consulting and management project which was followed with improvement of distribution system and introduction of modern methods of management. In the frames of the project with assistance of invited specialists was established close relations with German and Czech raw materials manufactures which caused the valuable technology and high quality of production.

Lomisa was a pre-Christian deity in Ksani and Aragvi gorges. In accordance with a legend Lomisa was sitting on the bull's horns the St.George of Gzovani, who rescued from captivity in Khorasan 7000 persons. Here from is his name - lion-bull. He took up his residence on the mountain Mleti. People implored him for children, fertile soil and eyesight. the folk festival Lomisoba - reverence of pre-apse cross, installed on the pole and crowned on four sides with the balls - solar symbols. In Christian period Lomisa was indentificated with St. George. In Ksani gorge this festival is celebrated every year even now.
